For Our Caregivers

Hospice care allows patients and families to make the most of the time they have together. While the days ahead may be physically and emotionally trying, as a caregiver, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in your loved one’s life and also in your own. Caregiving is truly a gift of love.

At HPH Hospice, you, as a caregiver, can expect to receive compassionate, steadfast support from our staff and volunteers including:

· Coaching and teaching for hands-on care in your home

· Help providing comfort, safety and quality of life

· Information about medications and equipment

· An understanding social worker who will listen to your concerns, fears and thoughts

· A chaplain who will provide spiritual guidance in accordance with your beliefs and wishes

· Support in making decisions about care planning and treatment decisions

· 24-hour access to hospice staff
