The Hernando Hospice House is on the same campus as our Spring Hill team office and Hospice Care Center and provides a lovely environment for patients, families and visitors. The copula in the center of the roof has HPH Hospice’s candle sketched on the glass. When the sun strikes it just right, light filters through the House’s main hallway and creates a rainbow effect.

The eight-suite House opened in 1999 and has comfortable sitting areas. Each of these has a television, DVD and CD player and bookcases brimming with good things to read. Patients and visitors can sit in the dining area adjacent to the kitchen and talk with volunteers as meals are being prepared. The House’s screened patio, French doors and gazebo located at the end of the brick walkway make the surroundings pleasant and relaxing. Flowers bloom year-round.
