Open the doors to bright, airy, mini-department stores when you visit a HPH Hospice Thrift Store & More. You’ll find them attractively filled with new and gently used merchandise at reasonable prices. Within the stores you’ll find furniture, casual/professional/vintage/upscale clothing for ladies, gentlemen and teens, wedding dresses, jewelry, linens, books, children’s clothes and toys, home accessories and much more. You might note that every week we have an apparel sale at 50% off all clothing, shoes, hats, purses.

Shopping at or donating items to our thrift stores directly benefits HPH Hospice’s patient and family programs.

Individuals can drop off small donations at the stores weekdays during business hours and a tax deductible receipt will be provided. There is ample parking in front of the stores for customers and those who wish to donate. There is also a convenient drop-off location behind each thrift store. If you have difficulty transporting your items or live in another county, you can still donate to a HPH Hospice Thrift Store & More. Just call us to arrange a donation pick up at no charge.

What’s the process for donating items?

Donations must be clean, in good condition, and can only be accepted during store hours. All donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes unless they do not want one. There are drop off locations behind the stores and plenty of parking for donors and customers in front. We also offer free pick-up if items are large, bulky, or if you have a lot of items to donate. Some individuals have been extraordinarily generous and contributed the entire contents of their residence to the HPH Hospice Thrift Store & More.

Are there any items that can’t be donated?

Staff and volunteers at the HPH Hospice Thrift Store & More can’t accept broken, torn or stained furniture; waterbeds; pianos or organs; outdated computers or components; old or oversized televisions; metal office furniture; refrigerators; freezers; stoves or venting hoods; washers or dryers; bath fixtures; ceiling fans; chandeliers; tires; motor oil; paint; paint thinner; alcoholic beverages or firearms.

What about medical equipment that’s in good condition?

While hospital beds, wheelchairs and other types of medical equipment are not accepted at HPH Hospice’s Thrift Store & More, please email and let us know what you have to contribute. A representative from HPH Hospice’s Durable Medical Equipment Company will contact you and arrange for pick up if it’s something that can be utilized.

How do I know that I am supporting HPH Hospice when I shop at a thrift store or contribute to one?

HPH Hospice has two thrift stores in its three-county service area of Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. They are called the HPH Hospice Thrift Stores & More. Can I volunteer at the thrift store?

Adult and most teen volunteers are always welcome at the thrift store on a seasonal, full-time or part-time basis. Positions include cashier, customer service, donation sorter, pricer, stocking, repairpersons.
